A Colombian woman and a Chinese-American man crossed paths in Pittsburgh in 2023, and from the very beginning, it was clear that something special was unfolding. We quickly discovered how naturally we connected and how beautifully aligned were our values, beliefs, and life principles. Along the way, we realized just how much we had in common: shared love for Jesus, affinity for eating hamburgers, birthdays only one day apart, a deep love for our families, and a strong affection for animals, among so many other things.

We love exploring the world together; traveling, biking, hiking, and rock climbing have become some of our favorite adventures. Coming from different cultures has never been a barrier; on the contrary, it has been an opportunity to grow individually and to build a deeper, stronger relationship.

In April 2025, we got engaged, and in June 2025, we celebrated our civil marriage. Now, we are overjoyed to celebrate our union once again in May 2026 with our family and friends, as we commit our lives to one another before God. This relationship has truly changed our lives, and we are so grateful to share this moment with the people we love most.

Una mujer Colombiana y un hombre Chino-Estadounidense se cruzaron en Pittsburgh en 2023, y desde el principio quedó claro que algo especial estaba surgiendo. Rápidamente descubrimos lo bien que conectábamos; nuestros valores, creencias y principios de vida estaban hermosamente alineados. Con el tiempo, nos dimos cuenta de cuánto teníamos en común: amor por Jesús, por las hamburguesas, cumpleaños separados por solo un día, un profundo amor por nuestras familias y un gran cariño por los animales, entre tantas otras cosas.

Nos encanta explorar el mundo juntos; viajar, andar en bicicleta, hacer senderismo y escalar se han convertido en algunas de nuestras aventuras favoritas. Provenir de diferentes culturas nunca ha sido un obstáculo; por el contrario, ha sido una oportunidad para crecer individualmente y construir una relación más profunda y fuerte.

En Abril de 2025, nos comprometimos, y en Junio de 2025 celebramos nuestro matrimonio civil. Ahora, estamos muy emocionados de celebrar nuestra unión una vez más en Mayo de 2026 con nuestra familia y amigos, mientras comprometemos nuestras vidas el uno al otro ante Dios. Esta relación realmente ha cambiado nuestras vidas, y estamos muy agradecidos de compartir este momento con las personas que más amamos.
